Eleven religious organizations said that the government had not conducted an impartial investigation for the murder of the priest
Various religious organizations have criticized the government for not conducting an impartial investigation into the murder of Rautahat priest Shri Ram Sah by an unidentified group.
They have accused the government of failing to investigate the murder and bring the perpetrators to justice.
Shri Ram Sah, a priest of Hanuman Temple in Madhavnarayan Municipality-2 of Rautahat, was killed by an unidentified group on September 19.
"The Nepali religious community has demanded the government to find the culprits and bring them to justice for the heinous crime of killing saints, pundits and priests. It is not illegitimate to demand such a demand," the joint statement said. The main responsibility of the state is to investigate the incident and take legal action against the culprits.
They have also accused the state of being sensitive to the murder of an innocent religious saint and instead of giving justice to the group demanding justice.
"There are fears that the state will not investigate the incident impartially. In this regard, it is necessary for the Home Minister to address with a clear answer. We urge the government to immediately bring the perpetrators to justice and provide justice to the victims, "the statement said. We strongly demand the security forces. '
