Bamdev Gautam nominated by the President as one vacant member of the National Assembly

Kathmandu: President Bidyadevi Bhandari has nominated CPN (Maoist) Vice-Chairman Bamdev Gautam as a vacant member of the National Assembly.


On the basis of the recommendation sent by the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Wednesday, President Bhandari nominated Gautam as a member of the National Assembly.

The cabinet meeting held on Monday had decided to recommend to the President to nominate Gautam as a member of the National Assembly. Gautam's term as a member of the National Assembly will be six years.

Earlier, the CPN (Maoist) Secretariat had decided to send Gautam to the National Assembly. Dr. Six months after the end of Yuvaraj Khatiwada's term, Gautam has been recommended for nomination as a member of the National Assembly.
