I will bear the cost of my treatment myself, the government should fulfill its duty towards the citizens: Dr. KC

Kathmandu: Dr. Govinda KC, who is infected with corona, has said that he will bear the cost of his treatment. After seeing corona infection in Dr. KC, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Saturday morning wished him good health and said that the government would bear the cost of his treatment. 

Expressing heartfelt thanks for the message of good health benefits given by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Dr. KC said that the government should bear the cost of its own treatment and fulfill its duty towards its citizens.  

Stating that the poor and remote people infected with corona need free treatment and have not been able to get treatment so far, Dr. KC said that the government's focus should be on the treatment of all the needy citizens rather than the individual. 

"If the agreements made with us have been implemented time and time again, large government hospitals and medical colleges would have been built in all parts of the country," he said. In addition, the citizens there would get quality, free, accessible health care for all diseases, including corona, 'said KC. He also reminded to implement the agreements reached during the 19th Satyagraha as soon as possible.
