A young woman sleeping in Rautahat was shot dead

Rautahat: A young woman has been shot dead in Loukaha Tol of Madhavnarayan Municipality-7 in Rautahat. 

Ram Ayodhya Sahki's 18-year-old daughter Amrita Kumari was shot dead while she was sleeping on Wednesday night. Rautahat police said that it was not clear who killed him.

According to DSP Bharat Shrestha, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Rautahat, Amrita was shot dead by an unidentified group at around 11 pm.

The girl died on the spot. Spokesperson Shrestha said that an investigation into the incident has been started.
