Council of Ministers decides to free trial and treatment of corona in government hospitals

Kathmandu:  Corona testing and treatment at government hospitals will be free of cost. The government has corrected its earlier decision to provide free corona testing and treatment at government hospitals.

Earlier, the government had decided to test and treat only certain groups and others to test and treat at their own expense. The cabinet meeting held on Monday corrected the decision.

The Supreme Court had on September 3 ordered free testing and treatment for corona infection. The court had also rejected the petition filed by the government a few days ago. The government has corrected the decision within a few days of the Supreme Court's decision.
