Mortality rate is rising in the Sudurpashchim

The death rate from corona infection is lower in some states than in other states. According to the Ministry of Social Development, six corona infections have died in the last 10 days in the state.

The death toll from Covid-19 has risen to 29 in the state after a 62-year-old man from Kanchanpur district died at the Seti Provincial Hospital in Dhangadhi on Wednesday. The ministry does not have statistics on the number of infected people dying in home isolation. With the onset of winter, the number of patients infected with coronary heart disease has been increasing. Health workers say that the risk of spreading corona has increased as the public's activity has increased without following the prescribed health safety standards.

According to the ministry, out of the total 10,269 cases of infection in the state till Wednesday, 8,708 have returned home after treatment. As of Wednesday, samples of 111,207 suspects from Corona have been tested using PCR. As the number of patients is increasing, the state government is preparing to manage more beds in Kovid Temporary Hospital, Dhangadhi.

Chief of the Health Division at the Ministry of Social Development, Narendra Singh Karki, said that work was underway to add more beds in the Covid Temporary Hospital under the Seti Provincial Hospital. Dilip Kumar Shrestha, information officer of the hospital, said that 50 beds have been provided for the patients of Kovid-19 in the hospital. Hospitals in other districts of the state are not equipped with ICU, intensive care unit,s, and ventilator.

Dr. Gunaraj Awasthi, director of the health directorate Dipayal, said that the corona infection rate could be higher in cold weather than in summer. "Symptoms like Covid-19 can be seen in more people as the temperature rises," he said. à¤°ासस
