Bangladesh and Nepal ended up with equal


Kathmandu: Nepal played a goalless draw with Bangladesh in the second international friendly football match. Nepal lost the golden opportunity in the last match and drew with Bangladesh.

In today's match played at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka, Nepal lost a good chance to score a goal and could not win against Bangladesh. After a goalless draw in the first half, Nepal played a goalless draw in the second half as well. Nepal played very aggressively but failed to score. Despite playing one offensive game after another, the front line players could not move.

Though Nepal improved the defense compared to the first game, the forwards and midfield players could not move. In the extra time of the game, Ranjit Dhimal's cross pass was hit by a ball headed by Navyug Shrestha and returned to the bar.

Nepal's XChiring, Gurung, Sesehang Andambe, and Pujan Uparkoti made their debuts against Bangladesh. Earlier, three Nepali players had made their debut against Bangladesh in the first match. Vikas Khawas, Eric Bisht, and Darshan Gurung made their debuts on the national team. But in the first match, Nepal lost 2-0 to Bangladesh.

Nepal has played an international football game after about a year. Earlier, in the second round of the World Cup qualifiers, Nepal had competed with Kuwait on November 19 in Bhutan. In that game, Nepal was defeated 1-0. After that, the international game played by Nepal was shifted after the coronavirus infection spread all over the world. The friendly match against Bangladesh was also played in preparation for the second round of the World Cup qualifiers.
