Demonstration in favor of monarchy in Surkhet

Surkhet- Karnali region, Surkhet, Birendranagar capital on Thursday in favor of the monarchy has been performed.

Participants in the demonstration under the banner of Hindu Rashtra Raj Sanstha Purnasthapana Sangharsh Samiti Surkhet also carried placards with a picture of former King Gyanendra Shah.

The motorcycle rally started from Kalin Chowk in Birendranagar and reached Pipal Chautara.

Demonstrators also chanted slogans such as 'King come, save the country', 'Republic is not needed, the country cannot be sold'. They also demanded the restoration of the monarchy and the Hindu nation.
