Two Indians arrested with weapons

Mahottari: Armed Police have arrested two Indian nationals with weapons from Mahottari. Among the arrested are 19-year-old Mukesh Kumar Mandal and 15-year-old Raj Kumar Das of Sitamarhi, India.

According to the Armed Police Force (APF), they were arrested on Wednesday night after fleeing from the area after consuming alcohol in Maruwahi of Manarasiswa Municipality-10.

A mobile team from the Armed Forces Border Outpost Maruwahi arrested them. Two rounds (7.65 cm) of loaded automatic pistol and one spring knife were recovered from them, said SP Suresh Sapkota of Armed Police Force-9 Gana Jalsagar Mahottari.

SP Sapkota said that the two arrested persons were handed over to the District Police Office, Mahottari, demanding further investigation.
