After the meeting of Prachanda-Madhav group, Nepal side returned to UML
Kathmandu: After the last meeting of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN), Madhav Kumar Nepal's party has returned to the CPN-UML.
Leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha has said that the last meeting of the Prachanda-Nepal faction held in Parisdanda on Monday was the last one. The decision to return to the UML was taken after internal discussions between the leaders of the Nepali side.
Respecting the decision of the Supreme Court, the leaders said that they would move forward as UML and Maoists.
However, Shrestha said that the unity initiative between the two parties has not stopped. "The decision of the Supreme Court has to be implemented," he said, adding that if there was a reunification between the two parties, it would be the same. Now the process of UCPN (M) and UML will move forward.
