Excavator set on fire after woman's death

Dhading: Locals have set fire to an excavator after a woman was killed in Tripura Sundari village municipality-1 of Dhading. The excavator was set on fire on the charge that the mining operator had tried to fill the hole of the woman who was injured by the excavator while digging the road. 

A local has alleged that Saraswati Kumal, 45, of Tripura Sundari Gaonpalika-1 was injured while digging the road while widening the road for the road pitch. The injured Kumal died when the operator tried to bury her by digging a hole.

After the incident, the locals set fire to the dozer and the operator is absconding, police said. Police have been mobilized to control the incident in Salyantar.
