Prime Minister Oli is dissatisfied with the attempt to bring the army into a dispute
Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed dissatisfaction over the attempt to drag the Nepal Army into a dispute.
Speaking at the annual function of the National Security Council Secretariat, Prime Minister Oli said that such attempts were being made to bring the Nepal Army, which is playing an important role in national security and development, into controversy and insult it. Oli said that even though the army has fulfilled its constitutional rights and responsibilities given by the government in a disciplined manner, it is trying to bring it into dispute by force.
Stating that the Nepal Army is needed for the development work, Prime Minister Oli praised the work done by the army.
"Where there is an awkward guard, the Nepal Army is needed. The army has done very risky and difficult construction work. The army should be commended for this," Oli said.
Similarly, targeting CK Raut, he said that those who have separatist demands in the country and those who have been involved in violence have pointed out the revolution and the journey of happy Nepali prosperity to Nepal has become easier. He said that it should be taken as a victory of all rather than a victory or defeat of anyone.
