In Province-2, 6 People Died From Covid-19 Infection, Adding 422 Infected

Janakpurdham: In the last 24 hours, 422 infected people have been added to Province-2. Six infected people have died. According to a report released by the Health Directorate under the Ministry of Social Development, 113 people have been infected in Dhanusha, 65 in Mahottari, 7/7 in Siraha and Sarlahi, 27 in Saptari, 39 in Rautahat, 32 in Bara, and 145 in Parsa in the last 24 hours. Similarly, seven people living in State 2 from other districts have been infected.

One died in Rautahat, two in Parsa, and three in Mahotari.

According to the directorate, a 70-year-old woman from Rautahat, a 60-year-old man from Birgunj Mahanagarpali-7 of Parsa and ward no. A 70-year-old woman died at Narayani Hospital in Birgunj on Friday. 

Similarly, a 66-year-old man from Manara Siswa Municipality-9 Bathnaha of Mahotari, an 80-year-old man from Jaleshwor Municipality-12 Tharuwahi, and a 38-year-old man from Gaushala Municipality-11 Kalikapur died while undergoing treatment.

So far, 41 people have died in Saptari, 26 in Siraha, 25 in Dhanusha, 21 in Mahottari, 15 in Sarlahi, 11 in Rautahat, 26 in Bara, and 67 in Parsa, including one Indian. Currently, 2,552 people are actively infected in the districts of the state. Of them, 2,455 are being treated in home isolation and 97 in hospital isolation.
