Prachanda's question to Oli: Do you have the moral right to ask for a vote of confidence from the House and members?
Kathmandu: CPN (Maoist) Central Committee Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has broken the Left Alliance and development and prosperity.
In a meeting of the House of Representatives on Saturday, Prachanda remarked that Prime Minister Oli had shown his pride and arrogance by dissolving the sovereign parliament in such a way that internal disputes within the party would attack the entire country and society.
Prachanda said that the vote of confidence could not be given as the parliament was dissolved in an autocratic and arbitrary manner. He also said that Prime Minister Oli's vote of confidence was not logical and seemed dramatic.
Does Prachanda have the moral right to ask Prime Minister Oli for a vote of confidence in this House and these honorable members? He also questioned that. Similarly, he has portrayed himself as a national problem from time to time. Is it a national problem, you or me? He even asked a question.
