An Engineer arrested on charge of attempting to rape a teenager

An engineer of Runtigadhi village of Rolpa has been arrested on the charge of trying to rape a girl while she was bathing. 

Sheshmani Poudel, an engineer of Dang Lamahi village, was arrested on Friday afternoon after the victim lodged a complaint alleging that he had tried to rape her.

According to Rolpa Police Chief DSP Nawaraj Subedi, the investigation was started on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim.

After seeing the girl taking a bath, Engineer Poudel went to the tap carrying a bottle of mineral water to fill the water.

The victim has alleged that he then tried to rape the girl who was taking a bath in the tap.
The engineer was already following the girl.
Police said that they were also found to be using force mailing under various pretexts. According to the police, the engineer used to ask for the girl's Facebook ID from time to time.
