Attempts are being made to break the alliance: Prachanda
Kathmandu: Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has said that efforts are being made to break the ruling coalition. He said that he tried to save the alliance formed in the struggle against the dissolution of the parliament but there were attempts to break it from somewhere.
Speaking at a program organized in Parisdanda on Saturday on the occasion of the 8th memorial day of Nara Bahadur Karmacharya, the founding leader of the Communist Party of Nepal, Prachanda said, “There was an attempt to break the alliance. We tried to save. Attempts are still being made to demolish it. They are trying to make a fight by fighting in MCC. '
According to Prachanda, the resignation of UML leader Bhim Rawal, who was present at the same meeting on the issue of the dissolution of the parliament, was also a conspiracy to divide the leaders of the coalition.
Stating that a great battle has been won by saving the constitution, Prachanda said that there are still challenges. 'A great battle was won. We have come to the point of defending the constitution, but there are many big challenges. We have to deal with it wisely. Not easy, 'he said.
