Former Indian President Mukherjee dies due to corona

Kathmandu. Former Indian President Pranab Mukherjee died of corona on Monday.

         

84-year-old Mukherjee was taken to Delhi's Army Research and Referral (R&D) Hospital on August 10 after confirm of Corona infection. 

His condition was already critical after undergoing brain surgery. He was placed on a ventilator. He was the President of India from 2012 to 2017. India's highest honor was also awarded the Bharat Ratna.

In addition, various politicians in India have paid tribute to him on social media.
