Oman's readiness to cooperate in Nepal's tourism sector

Kathmandu: Oman has shown readiness to cooperate in Nepal's tourism sector.

During a meeting between Oman's Minister of Heritage and Tourism Salim bin Mohammed Al-Ramhukkil and Nepal's Ambassador to Oman Sharmila Parajuli Dhakal on Thursday, Minister Salim praised Nepal's natural resources and culture and expressed readiness to cooperate in the tourism sector.

On Thursday, Ambassador Parajuli met in the office of the Minister of Heritage and Tourism of Oman. During the meeting, Ambassador Parajuli said that the number of Omani tourists has recently increased and requested the Government of Oman for cooperation in tourism promotion.

According to the Nepali Embassy in Oman, Minister Salim expressed confidence that an agreement would be signed in the tourism sector in the near future.
