Government's decision to close international borders until Aaswin 30

Kathmandu. The government has decided to close the border checkpoints on the Indian side till September 15. The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting held on Monday, said government spokesperson and Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradip Gyawali. 


In view of the fact that the corona virus infection has not been brought under control, it has been decided to tighten the entry through the border with India but in case of emergency, it will be allowed to enter through 10 major checkpoints. 
Similarly, it has been decided to allow two more checkpoints from India through Pashupatinagar of Ilam and Khalanga of Darchula. Similarly, it has been decided to open the entrance from Rasuwagadhi of China.
