IPL: Mid-season transfer window opens, opportunity to change team for Sandeep

Half of the 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is over. The five-day mid-season transfer window has started in the IPL after the first half of the tournament. Accordingly, the players will be able to change the franchise as per the mutual agreement of the two teams.


The transfer window is open for all teams. However, this procedure will only apply to players who have played two or less of the seven games of the season. This time 90 players are available for the mid-season transfer window.

These include Ben Stoke worth Rs 125 million, Chris Morris of Royal Challengers Bangalore worth Rs 100 million, Nathan Coulter Nile worth Rs 80 million and Ajinkya Rahane of Delhi Capitals worth Rs 525 million.

Thirteen players from Mumbai Indians, nine from Delhi Capitals, 10 from Kolkata Knight Riders, 11 from Royal Challengers Bangalore, 13 from Sunrisers Hyderabad, 11 from Rajasthan Royals, 10 from Chennai Super Kings and 13 from Kings XI Punjab are eligible for mid-season transfer.

Nepali young spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has not been able to play a game from Delhi yet. He will also get to change the team.
