Successful ascent of Baruntse Himal by Nepali team

 Kathmandu: The Nepali team has successfully climbed Baruntse Himal.

According to Mira Acharya, director of the tourism department, a team led by Dawa Steven Sherpa climbed Baruntse Himal. He informed that a team of seven people, which left on September 7, reached Chuchuro yesterday.

According to him, this is the second and the first successful ascent by the Nepali team in the current season. The Baruntse Himal in the Khumbu region is 7,129 meters high.
