Prime Minister Oli said that Baburam had spread confusion by making irresponsible remarks on the issue of Budhigandaki

Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that Nepal Police has been carrying every responsibility handed over by the country.

Speaking at a program organized at the Police Headquarters on the occasion of the 65th Police Day, Prime Minister Oli said that the police had played an important role in maintaining peace and security despite limited resources.

Prime Minister Oli said that the crime had broken the geographical boundary wall and Nepal Police should be vigilant. Prime Minister Oli suggested the police to abide by the rules and regulations.

Stating that unconstitutional activities are taking place now, Prime Minister Oli said that it was necessary to control the extremist activities taking place internally.

He said tougher laws would be enacted to control crimes against humanity, such as acid attacks and rape. He objected that former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai had created confusion in the minds of the people by making irresponsible remarks on the Budhigandaki project.
