India's 'Zee' network started broadcasting in Nepal as a clean feed channel

            

Kathmandu. Clean Feed,  which has been a topic of discussion for a long time, has  finally been implemented from today However, the broadcasting of some foreign channels has been halted due to lack of preparation between the service providers and television.

Meanwhile, DMB Holdings, the official distributor of G Entertainment Enterprise Limited for Nepal, has stated that all the channels broadcast through G Network have been broadcast in Nepal via satellite.

The 'Zee' network includes channels such as Zee TV, Zee News, Zee Cinema, Zing, Zee Cafe, Zee Classic and Zee Action.

Similarly, the channels under Sony's package in Nepal, including Sony Entertainment, Sony Sub, Sony Max, Sony Six, Sony Ten, are also available in Clean Feed.

These channels will be blocked for a few days as other foreign broadcasters do not provide clean feed channels immediately.

For a long time, some channels, including HBO, have been operating on a completely clean feed.

In addition, the channels under Star are closed. More than 20 star channels including Star Sports, Star Plus, Star Gold, Star Movies, National Geographic, Star 1 and Star 2 have been closed for some time.

Also, the broadcasting of Colors, Colors HD, BBC, CNN and other channels has been stopped, says Managing Director of Dishome Sudip Acharya. According to him, such a situation has arisen due to the inability of these channels to make necessary preparations in the midst of the Coron epidemic.

It is said that these channels will be rebroadcast after the tenth even though the service required for the clean feed could not be provided due to the suspension. However, the ongoing IPL and other games have not been seen on TV till then.

With the implementation of Clean Feed, broadcasting of 50 to 60 channels under free-to-air service, which can be viewed without subscription, has also been stopped.

Accordingly, the television service providers have stated that due to the policy of Clean Feed, the channels can be added and changed according to the LCN (channel number) and package of the channels.
