An Indian national was arrested from Jhapa with brown sugar
Jhapa: Police have arrested an Indian national from Mechinagar-6 in Jhapa district along with the banned drug brown sugar.
A police team from the Drug Control Bureau, Kakadvitta, arrested him on Saturday evening.
According to District Police Office, Jhapa, Deputy Superintendent of Police Rakesh Thapa, 25-year-old Sadhik Alam of Khorobari in West Bengal, India was arrested with 26 grams of brown sugar.
Alam was arrested while smuggling brown sugar from India to Nepal.
He has been kept at the Area Police Office, Kakadvitta for further investigation and legal action. RSS
