Black balloon in the sky for the Indian Army Chief, Protest using black fags in Maitighar ! (Pictures)
Kathmandu. When Indian Army Chief Manoj Mukunda Narwane came to Kathmandu, there was a token protest. Twenty-one small associations and organizations have staged demonstrations with black flags at Maitighar Mandala in protest of Narwane's visit to Nepal.
Similarly, the Greater Nepal Nationalist Forum has flown a black balloon in the sky with a banner reading 'Naples Hate Narwane, Back of India'. The source of the black balloon was not immediately clear.
Greater police chief Phadindra Nepal, including Nepal monitoring group was able to resist them vislesanasahita.
A senior Nepal Police official told Ratopati that Hemraj Thapa, Gyanendra Shahi and Phanindra Nepal, who are frequently seen in the agitation at Maitighar, were kept under surveillance during the visit.
Similarly, police have arrested Punya Gautam in the morning for saying that he should be welcomed with a black flag.
