21-party alliance including Biplab to hold demonstrations in all the states

KATHMANDU:  21-party alliance led by the banned Netra Bikram Chand 'Biplava', including the ruling CPN (Maoist), has decided to protest against the arrears of sugarcane farmers, including the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).


A meeting of the coalition held last Thursday has decided to hold a protest on November 22 at Maitighar in Kathmandu.

They are demanding the abolition of MCC, the return of Kalapani, Limpiyadhura, Lipulek, Maheshpur areas encroached by India, free treatment of corona and testing, and immediate payment of arrears to sugarcane farmers in the Terai. The coalition has decided to hold demonstrations in each of the seven states on these issues.
