There is no alternative to the monarchy: Mayor Rana

The public has demonstrated in Nepalgunj on Saturday, including a motorcycle rally. Today, Public led by Rashtriya Prajatantra Party have demonstrated in Nepalgunj demanding restoration of the Hindu nation and monarchy.

The rally started from in front of the Bageshwari temple and ended at Dhamboji Chowk. Addressing the program, RPP leader Dhawal Shamsher Rana said that there was no alternative for RPP for the development of the country.

Rana, who is also the mayor of Nepalgunj sub-metropolis, has accused the CPN (Maoist) government of destroying the country. He said that a country could not be imagined without a king. RPP central member Rishi Raj Devkota took command of the demonstration.

In the demonstration demanding the restoration of the monarchy, Hindus came not only on motorcycles but also on cars, autos, rickshaws and bicycles. Dhawal Shamsher Rana, President of Nepalgunj 4 ABM RPP Youth Leader Mo. Other leaders including Safiq Behna were present.
