A Nepali serving in the Indian Army was martyred in the Kashmir attack
Tulsipur Sub Municipal Corporation Ward No. Prem KC, 30, of Beluwa martyred in the attack.
KC's group working in Jammu and Kashmir was attacked around 5 am on Friday and martyred on the way to the hospital.
Prem's brother Tulsi KC had informed that the Indian Army had called the family at around 9 in the morning and shot them. But family members told his friends that he had martyred.
"Prem is my uncle's son," Tulsi said. "Another Indian soldier was martyred along with his brother in the terrorist attack."
His father Lal Bahadur KC has already left for India to collect his brother's body. Tulsi said that the body would arrive by Saturday.
Prem's father Lal Bahadur is also a retired Indian Army officer. It had been 14 years since Prem joined the Indian Army.
Prem has a 7-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son.
