Decision of the Council of Ministers to lift the ban on Biplav rebel groups
Kathmandu: The government has lifted the ban on the Netra Bikram Chand-led insurgent group. A meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar has decided to lift the ban on the rebel group.
A similar meeting has estimated that the agreement reached with the revolution will be implemented after it is made public. Details of the agreement will be made public at 2 pm on Friday, according to a statement issued by the government.
The agreement has been signed by Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, coordinator of the government negotiating team, and Khadka Bahadur Bishwakarma, coordinator and spokesperson of the Biplav group.
The government and Netra Bikram Chand's group Biplav reached an agreement in Baluwatar on Friday. According to the agreement, the BJP will resolve all its political issues through dialogue and conduct all its political activities peacefully.
