Chance of heavy rain in some parts of the country

Kathmandu: The Water and Meteorological Department has forecast partially to moderate cloud cover in most parts of the country on Friday. 

Meteorologists have forecast light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some parts of the country.

There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in some places of Far West and Province No. 1.

The rest of the hilly areas of the country, including Province 1, will be partly cloudy to normal on Friday night and generally clear in other parts of the country.

There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in a few places in the hilly areas of State 1, Bagmati and Gandaki, and Karnali.

There is a normal change in the country this morning. It has rained at night in some parts of the country.

Currently, the country is under the influence of the western low-pressure system and cyclone Tau-te around Uttar Pradesh of India has become weaker as a low-pressure area.
