Eight hotels have been identified to accommodate passengers coming from India

Kathmandu: Passengers coming from India have to stay in quarantine for 10 days. For this, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation have quarantined eight hotels in Kathmandu.

The quarantined hotels are View Bhrikuti in the Godavari, Madhav Hotel in Guheswari, Airport Hotel in Airport, Amadablum in Gausala, Readers Inn, and Ananda Ashram, Farm House Resort, and A-One Resort in Jagati. There are 10 to 91 rooms available in these hotels. The hotel operator will have to make arrangements to bring it from the airport to the hotel. The ministry has set a price list that allows the hotel to charge up to Rs 3,000 per person per day, including value-added tax and service charge, for providing food and accommodation and other facilities to the passengers.

In coordination with the Nepal Airlines Corporation and Air India, the Nepal Tourism Board has been assigned the responsibility of collecting passenger details and assisting in the quarantine management of passengers.

The government has been suspending international flights since Thursday night. The interior has been closed since Tuesday night. But the government has decided to allow two flights a year from India.
