Prime Minister Oli giving a press conference

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to hold a press conference. According to Press Advisor to Prime Minister Surya Thapa, a press conference is being held on Friday at 12:30 pm.

At the request of the Prime Minister, President Bidyadevi Bhandari on Thursday called for the formation of a new government in accordance with Article 76, Sub-Article 5 of the Constitution.

Opposition parties have stated they will not run in the by-elections, but Oli is holding a press conference after the president called for a new government.

Thapa informed that the press conference will also be telecast live. The President has given the members of the House of Representatives time till 5 pm on Friday.
