The responsibility of the security of the isolation center is given to the army
Kavre: With the second wave of Coronavirus infection spreading rapidly, the district-level Crisis Management Center for Covid-19 infection control, prevention, and treatment in Kavrepalanchok has now handed over the responsibility of isolation security to the Nepal Army.
On Wednesday, a meeting of the District Crisis Management Center decided to hand over the security of the isolation center managed at Shir Memorial Hospital in Banepa, Nepal Banepa Polytechnic Institute and Janak Multipurpose Campus in Naubise of Namobuddha Municipality to the Nepal Army of Kalijang Battalion in Dhulikhel.
There are 20 isolation rooms at Shir Memorial Hospital, 50 at the Institute, 25 at the Campus Building and 15 at the Social Welfare Chowk in Panchkhal Municipality. The Nepal Army has been managing the bodies of those who died due to the infection.
As there is no government, private and local level transport of corpses in the district till now, it has been demanded from the Bagmati State Level Kovid-19 Crisis Management Center to provide corpses under the district level crisis management center.
Number of infected people exceeds 700 The number of infected
people from Covid-19 in Kavrepalanchok have exceeded 700. The number of actively infected people has reached 768 after 158 people were confirmed infected in different municipalities of the district on Wednesday. Of them, 58 are in isolation of different hospitals and 743 in-home isolation, according to the Health Office, Kavrepalanchok.
According to the office, the highest number of infected people has reached 301 in Banepa Municipality so far. There are 158 infected people in Dhulikhel Municipality, 150 in Panauti Municipality, 60 in Panchkhal Municipality, 28 in Namobuddha Municipality, and 19 Mandandeupur Municipality. According to the health office, the number of people returning home free from infection has reached 16 in the district.
The municipalities have stated that oxygen has been provided in all the beds of the isolation room and 24-hour ambulance service has also been provided for the service of the patients. रासस
