Some groups are trying to make the government fail - PM Oli

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that some groups are trying to make the government fail in any way and are trying to get them involved in the issue. Stating that he had to fight with Kovid for a long time, he said that development work was carried out even in such a situation

Gauradaha Municipality Ward No. This was stated by Prime Minister Oli while laying the foundation stone of Doramari Secondary School building through virtual media on Tuesday. In the meantime, political non-cooperation, dragging one's feet, and not wanting to see development and progress in the country has created a situation where work is not allowed, Oli said.

Oli said that the work is being done in the name of what is being done and in what name. Oli said that all-out efforts are being made to take the country towards regression, not to allow the country to move on the path of progress, not to allow the democratic process to take place, and not to allow the government to function.

Despite this, the government is determined to develop the country as per the expectations of the people, Oli said. He also said that the current government will continue to protect the constitution and the democratic system. Oli also said that the system brought by the Nepali people through struggle will not be allowed to fail.

He also clarified that the government is creating an environment to go to the people and get fresh mandates from the people. "Everyone knows that the government cannot be allowed to work and an alternative government cannot be given," Oli said.

He also said that development works across the country, including Jhapa, have progressed rapidly. He said the current Corona issue was a challenge due to the situation and would move forward to face it. Oli said that work was being done to ensure vaccination for all the citizens.

After Prime Minister Oli said that the foundation stone of the building was laid through virtual means, the Minister of Internal Affairs and Law of State 1, Hikmat Karki, had placed the reins at the construction site in his physical presence. He said that the federal, state, and local governments have complemented each other for the development of the education sector.
