Before leaving Baluwatar, Prime Minister Oli will address the nation

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is preparing to address the nation before leaving Baluwatar. The time of the address has not been fixed. Oli is set to address the nation today after the Supreme Court ordered the appointment of Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba as the Prime Minister, disbanding the House of Representatives for the second time.

During the address, the government is ready to provide information on the work done so far and current issues. Although Prime Minister Oli has said that he respects the decision of the Supreme Court, he has commented that the decision was politically motivated. Similarly, Oli has also called a meeting of the standing committee at 1 pm today.

As per yesterday's order of the Supreme Court, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba will become the Prime Minister by 5 pm. He is preparing to form a small cabinet today. For that, the parties affiliated with the opposition alliance including the Congress and the Maoist Center are currently in internal discussions.
