Meeting between Biplav and Kamal Thapa

Kathmandu: A meeting has been held between CPN (Biplav) General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand Biplav and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Kamal Thapa. Biplob, who has been busy in political meetings for several weeks, met RPP Chairman Thapa on Friday afternoon.

After reaching Thapa's residence in Budhanilkantha and party spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma, Biplob met Thapa and other RPP leaders. During the meeting, the two leaders stressed the need for all parties to fight for nationalism and independence as the country is in a difficult situation and foreign interference is rising.

Biplab has expressed concern that the three-point agreement reached with the then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has not yet been implemented.

Similarly, RPP is of the view that the three-point agreement reached between the government and the rebel-led Maoists should be implemented, said Thapa.
