Eight killed, including billionaire, in plane crash

A private plane crashed into an empty office building in the northern Italian city of Milan, killing all eight people on board. The plane, which was flying from Milan's Linate airport to the island of Sardinia, crashed shortly afterward.

According to Italian media, the pilot was 68-year-old Romanian billionaire Dan Petrescu. He is survived by his wife and son. Petrescu Romania is one of the richest people in the world.

The office building and parked vehicle caught fire after the accident. However, no one on the ground was injured. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the accident. Some eyewitnesses said flames were seen on the single-engine Pilatus PC-12 before the crash.
