The meeting of the CPN Secretariat has just ended
The meeting of the Secretariat of the ruling Communist Party of Nepal has just ended.
The meeting was informed about the task force formed by the two chairpersons to settle the disputes between the top leaders within the party. The meeting congratulated the task force and approved it.
After the task force submits the report to the two chairpersons, it will be brought to the secretariat meeting.
A six-member task force was formed under the coordination of General Secretary Bishnu Poudel after a discussion between Chairman and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' on July 15.
Earlier, in a meeting of the secretariat held on July 19, Chairman Oli had proposed to hold the party's general convention soon (in November).
In addition to the regular agenda, there was a dispute in the standing committee of the CPN over the distribution of power and coordination between the government and the party.
