Establishment of Youth Scientific Forum Nepal

The forum includes advising new young scientists in the field of research and helping them build platforms, engaging them in field research. Coordinator Meghnad Dhimal said that there is a plan to expand the forum to all the seven states. Dhimal said that not only science but also all the youths doing research will be able to join the forum.
It is the only youth scientific forum set up by a government body, Nasht said. Pratibha Pandey, a member of the forum, said that the forum has also been recognized as the Nepal Chapter of the World Institute of Young Scientists.
On Friday, Minister for Education, Science and Technology Giriraj Mani Pokharel inaugurated the forum and wished him well. Sunil Babu Shrestha, Vice-Chancellor of NASHT, has suggested bringing programs to collect up-to-date data of young researchers from the Young Scientists Forum and to encourage youth research.
