6 gamblers arrested from Sarlahi

Janakpurdham:  Police have arrested six gamblers from Sarlahi along with cash. According to Madan Kunwar, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Sarlahi, six persons were arrested along with Rs 69,000 while they were gambling at the house of Shambhu Singh, a local of Barhathwa Municipality-6 on Tuesday night.

A team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Uddhav Singh Bhat has arrested Shambhu Singh, 48, of Barhathwa Municipality-6, Sarlahi. 16 or 30 year old Manoj Rai, Ward no. 5 or 38 year old Mohammad Hussain Kawadi, Ward no. Ram Pravesh Mahato, 42, of 6 has been arrested.

According to spokesperson Kunwar, Vada no. Dinesh Sah, 38, and Ramananda Das, 55, were also arrested along with Rs 60,995 and Rs 5,200 respectively. He said that the investigation against the arrested has been extended.
