No sign of party split: PM Oli
Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the ruling Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) will not split. While inspecting the international assembly hall at Godavari in Lalitpur, Oli made it clear that there was no sign of splitting the party.
He said that despite the discussion on the party, the discussion was focused on the Karnali state government. Saying that he had questioned another CPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal about the ongoing discussions on the party, Oli said that the party should move forward properly.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Oli visited Lalitpur's Godavari to inspect the International Conference Hall. The assembly hall with a capacity of about 3,000 seats is currently under construction.
Prime Minister Oli had not left Baluwatar for a long time. However, Oli left Baluwatar and reached Godavari on the same day that the party's infighting escalated and General Secretary Bishnu Poudel conveyed the message that party unity was in a serious crisis.
