Oli must be removed: Baburam Bhattarai

Chairman of the Federal Council of Janata Samajwadi Party of Nepal and former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli must be removed.

In a tweet on Wednesday afternoon, Bhattarai said he must be removed after his own party made written allegations about the Oli government's failure/corruption.

Bhattarai said that President Vidyadevi Bhandari and Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanchi had tried to interfere in the internal dispute of the CPN (Maoist).

"It may be up to him how to end the struggle of the CPN (Maoist) but the issues of these states/peoples must be raised by the opposition parties/peoples: 1. The President and foreign diplomats should not interfere in party affairs; After his own party has made written allegations about the failure/corruption of the Oli government, he must be removed, 'Bhattarai wrote.

Earlier, President Bhandari had held separate discussions with two chairpersons KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' on the dispute in the ruling Communist Party of Nepal.

Chinese Ambassador Yanchi met Prime Minister Oli in Baluwatar on Tuesday evening.

At the CPN Secretariat meeting held on October 12, Chairman Prachanda had submitted a political report accusing Oli of failing to give the right direction to the party and the government.

After Prime Minister Oli asked for time to respond to the allegations made by Prachanda, today's meeting of the CPN (Maoist) Secretariat has ended after 10 p.m.
