Nepal-France Business Forum is being organized


President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Shekhar Golchha and French Ambassador to Nepal Fanswa-Javier Leje have met. During the meeting, discussions were held on expanding economic and trade relations between Nepal and France and various issues of economic cooperation.

During the discussion, it was agreed to convene a meeting of the Nepal-France Business Forum next June and to make a detailed presentation on the economic situation of Nepal and investment potential in Nepal after the Covid.
Chairman Golchha studied the feasibility of areas of mutual cooperation between Nepal and France and urged for investment and cooperation in such areas. He said that Nepal's economy soon picked up pace after Kovid.
He emphasized increasing French investment in Nepal and expanding trade through expanding contacts between the private sectors of the two countries. He said that diplomatic assistance would be important for this.

During the meeting, Ambassador Leje said that he was taking continuous initiatives to further strengthen the expansion of economic and business relations between France and Nepal. He also recalled that the federation had participated in a high-level visit to France from Nepal last year and a memorandum of understanding had been signed between the federation and Medef International.
