FM Urges India to make available vaccines against corona 'purchased' by Nepal as soon as possible
On Friday, Foreign Minister Pradip Kumar Gyawali made the request in a telephone conversation with his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar. In that context, he requested that the one million doses of vaccine purchased by Nepal be made available as soon as possible, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The two foreign ministers also discussed the recent rise in coronavirus infection control in India and Nepal. The two ministers also discussed cooperation in controlling the corona epidemic.
Meanwhile, the Indian External Affairs Minister has assured continuous support to Nepal in the fight against the epidemic, including the supply of carnivorous vaccines.
A few days ago, India had said that it would not impose sanctions on other countries without inviting its citizens. The Serum Institute is producing 2 million corona vaccines daily in India. However, with more corona infections in India than ever before, the government is pushing for the Serum Institute to increase vaccine production.
