KATHMANDU: At least 25 people have been killed when two trains collided in Pakistan. Two trains collided in Pakistan's Sindh province.

At least 40 people were injured in the crash, the BBC reported, citing local media. According to Radio Pakistan, the death toll is expected to rise as the condition of some is critical. A rescue team has been deployed to rescue those trapped in the train carriages.

The Sir Syed Express from Rawalpindi to Karachi and the Millat Express from Karachi to Sargodha collided. In the accident, eight coaches of Millat Express and three coaches of Sir Syed Express have been derailed. The leak of the train involved in the accident has been stopped.
