Congress and Communists pushed the country into crisis: Kamal Thapa
Jhapa: Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Kamal Thapa has said that the country is in crisis due to the failure, short-sightedness, and inaction of the Nepali Congress and the Communist Party. Thapa, who reached Birtamod on Monday, claimed that corruption had engulfed the country.
Talking about the need for politics of loyalty, principles, and ideals, Thapa also pointed out the need for the nationalist patriotic forces to stand together for the sake of national independence. He remarked that the country would be pushed towards more waste if the problem of conversion and unemployment is not solved.
He said that he would fulfill his plan to make RPP a strong nationalist democratic force in the national politics of the country with the cooperation of all. Stating that the message of unity could not be conveyed to the lower echelons after the unification of the party at the center, Thapa expressed the view that activism and dynamism were needed to give new impetus and energy.
Similarly, he said that the party's general convention was a renaissance for RPP. He said that he would join the party movement immediately after the general convention. Admitting that there were some mistakes and weaknesses in the running of the party, he expressed his commitment not to repeat the weaknesses of the past in the coming days.
