'My statement is clear, it was about Operation Swift Resort after India entered Pakistani territory at Balkot. "I was talking about the operation carried out by Pakistan after the attack on Pulwama," he told NDTV.

Earlier, 40 CRPF personnel were killed in a terrorist attack in Pulwala, Jammu and Kashmir, indicating Pakistan's involvement.

"We invaded India by invading their homes. Our success in Pulwama is the success of our people under the leadership of the Imran Khan government. We are all part of this success, ”Chaudhary told the National Assembly.

After protesting the statement in the assembly, he corrected his statement, saying, "After the attack on Pulwama, when we entered India, we took action."

He later tweeted that Pakistan had attacked India's military base and that Pakistan would not show its bravery in killing innocent people and would oppose terrorism.

India had launched an air strike on a militant camp in Balakot, Pakistan, on February 14 last year after a suicide bombing in Pulwama. In response, Pakistan also sent fighter jets to Indian soil.

In the process, a Pakistani fighter jet shot down an Indian military aircraft at the Line of Control. Pakistani troops arrested Wing Commander Abhinandan Vartaman. He was released two days later.
