Eight missing in coal mine accident in China

Agency:- A gas explosion at a coal mine in China's northwestern province of Shanxi has killed at least eight people. The accident took place at 1 pm local time on Wednesday, according to the Emergency Rescue Service Group. 

The group also said that 34 miners were rescued at the time of the accident. The search and rescue operation for the missing persons is underway, the source said. -Sinhwa
