A bomb blast in Afghanistan has killed at least six people

A bomb blast near the Afghan capital, Kunduz, has killed at least six people. At least 14 people were injured in the blast, according to local media. Local official Kudratullah Safi confirmed the blast on Wednesday afternoon. 

The blast took place at around 1 pm in Khanawad district of Kunduz. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a crowded public market. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a Taliban base in Afghanistan. But he did not say anything about it. 

The Taliban recently agreed to hold peace talks with the Afghan government in coordination with the United States. The Taliban have continued their offensive in the Qatari capital, Doha, as talks continue. (RSS / ANI)
