Interim order of the Supreme Court not to implement the new curriculum in class 11 and 12 immediately

Kathmandu:- The Supreme Court has issued a short-term interim order not to implement the new curriculum for classes 11 and 12.


A single bench of Supreme Court Judge Purushottam Bhandari summoned both the parties for discussion on Kartik 26 and issued a short-term interim order not to implement the course for the time being.

The court has asked to keep the status quo of the national curriculum of school education, 2076, without implementing it until the final order is finalized from the discussion.

Bhagwata Aryal and others had filed writ petitions against the curriculum development center, Pokhara University, Midwest, Far West, Eastern Region, Kathmandu and Agriculture and Forest Science University.

In the preliminary hearing of the writ petition, the apex court has also asked the opposition to submit a written reply within 15 days on the reasons for implementing the new curriculum.
